For Prospective Students
Undergrads - We are able to host a select number of undergraduates for research credit, internships or senior projects. Students have worked in the lab for as little as one semester or multiple years. UGA students can also seek support for research training and projects in the lab through the CURO program. Please contact me by e-mail about your interests.
Grads - We accept students in the MS and PhD program in Environmental Health Science. I also take students through Microbiology, Ecology and Marine Science (which use the joint ILS application process). Please contact for more information or to discuss options. Prospective students are encouraged to get their application materials in as early as possible to ensure full consideration for all available forms of assistantships. If you are interested in working with me, please send me an e-mail with your interests and a CV. If you can provide your GPA (and GRE scores if you want to share) that would also be helpful.
Fall 2022 - The application period for Fall 2022 is open! Please contact me directly at elipp@uga.edu if you are interested in applying for the MS or PhD program. Applications should be submitted by mid-December 2020. . Applications received before Jan. 1, 2022 will have highest priority for competitive funding. Feel free to contact me about future semesters as well. Please note that the Dept of Environmental Health Science is no longer requiring the GRE.
